Communities in Reminiscence
Communities in Reminiscence was a project devised by David Spence in association with the Bee Park Community Centre. Groups using the centre were engaged to construct the models and landscape for the reminiscence of the old SLNCR, which closed down in September 1957. Various artists were engaged to deliver training, and the whole was co-ordinated by David Spence. The project was funded by Leitrim County Council under the Creative Ireland Funds.

Harnessing Creativity
Harnessing Creativity was a regional fund and training programme aimed at encouraging the development of business ideas. The trike and bothy company aimed at developing an electric trike suitable for the inclement Irish weather, and a “Bothy” based on the old railway guards vans. These bothy’s would be self-sufficient and would be sited along the greenways servicing the needs of both trike and rider.
